Puncture Repairs
A puncture doesn't always mean a new tyre!
Dependent upon the size and positioning of the puncture we can often repair a tyre rather than replace!
If the puncture is located in the central area of the tyre and not close to the shoulder or the side wall we can often effect a repair, our specialists will inspect & advise appropriately.
We will always need to carry out an inspection before committing to repair a puncture to make certain it is safe to do the repair.
However if we can we will.

Wheel Alignment
We have the latest mechanical tools enabling us to provide the best wheel alignment services.
Having correctly aligned wheels has many benefits
- Less excessive tyre wear
- Better stability in cornering & braking
- Less stress on the vehicles suspension
- Lower ongoing costs of maintenance

Wheel Balancing
It is important to ensure wheels are balanced correctly, uneven balancing will eventually cause excess wear & tear, reduce the life of your tyres and potentially make the car handle badly especially under braking & cornering.
With tyre purchases we balance wheels as part of the fitting but if you want it checking we will do this from as little as £12 per wheel.

Wipers
Keeping your screen clear is vital for safe motoring in adverse conditions, wiper blades wear out like all items so if you need a wiper replacement pop in and we aill be able to replace your wipers.
Tyre Frequently Asked Questions
Can you repair punctured tyres ?
In short yes, providing the size & positioning of the puncture is in a place where it is safe to do so.
We cannot repair punctures close to the tyres shoulder or in the tyres sidewall but ifit is in the centre of the tyre we can often repair the tyre at a fraction of the cost of the new tyre.
How do i know when to change my tyres ?
Although the legal limit is 1.6mm tyre performance starts to really degrade once tyres get to about 3mm, grip reduces when cornering, braking distances especially in the wet become much longer so it is wise to get tyres changed at that point.
What is the legal limit for tyre tread?
The legal minimum tread depth for tyres is set at 1.6mm; however, tyre performance significantly deteriorates when the tread depth reaches approximately 3mm.
At this stage, the grip during cornering reduces, and braking distances, particularly in wet conditions, increase considerably. Therefore, it is prudent to replace tyres once they reach this level of wear.
